Another N Class has arrived, 460 in the cheeseburger scheme. That makes 3 N's in the fleet now (460, 464, 468...working in fours? :P). 460 is more a mantle piece at the moment, whether it will run or not depends on how much others go for on evilbay ;)

Also picked up a Candy 422 off eBay, will look good on Broadford at Corio in Jan :)

Just uploaded a video of our FA A85, fitted with sound by a mate. He did a fantastic job!

Will get my good camera and take a better video tomorrow, didn't have it on me today.

Meh...the camera isn't too bad, at least you can take shots of it. Nice A class and X. Keep up the good work :)

Lots of news in the workshops recently...especially after this weekends effort...
Image

Yes a bit of work to do! Also fitted a CLF with a sound chip (literally took only 10min). Going to do the other 3 CL's as well now, and possibly a DL. Dad went and bought 18 coal hoppers and has another 6 just awaiting payment. Also got an old NR shell off John to strip parts from to use on the 6000 rebuild.

Overall a fantastic weekend, probably the best one yet, and I'm glad to have helped out the club with it :)

Bit of an update from the Workshops. The LPC has had a major overhaul...

Layout/DCC Update: Due to the increased amount of sound locos and extra track layed here and there another booster is required. Should eliminate a lot of the power issues that have been occurring lately (doesn't help theres no bus wire!).

Sound Update: Two DL's fitted with sound, 4 CLP/F's, 1 FA A Class and 1 VR S Class. Currently on order is 3 chips which will provide sound for the QRN 6000 Class being modified, the PN S Class (as pictured above) and the FA G Class (also pictured above), which may be painted into PN G531 with some negotiations  .

Kits Update: The WT wagon has been started and is surprisingly easy than first first thought to be. Stay tuned...

RTR Update: E Cars should be arriving soon? 422's and GY's are on order as well. Not much has arrived lately, bought a few Advertising U Vans, wouldn't mind a T wagon for something different.
