Thank you Jerker

Mike from DCC Sounds Victoria, rang me and I organised him to buy me three of them :) I get the one here in the web photo plus another 70's built (don't care which number) As well as T413 (which has to come from Sydney)

DCC Sounds Flat Top T Class
I paid $380 each for them, fitted with a series 4.0 Loksound loaded with sounds recorded from T320
Now that is a great deal :)
Cheers
Rod

I didn't go today, crappy train timetable on sundays, I then thought they'll most likely be sold out when I get there from the rush of super rich people buying them :(

Cheers.

G'day Aaron™,

Aaron, you wrote...

...but it isn't going to get much better tomorrow, despite it being Monday (as it's a Public Holiday, Vline are running to Saturday's timetable)...

Hi Garry,

Saturday timetable is better than the Sunday, Sunday only run 2, 3 or 4 V'Locity Cars and there always packed up and have to stand, Saturday has more N class trains with 6-8 cars with a mixture of N, Z, S and always heaps of seats :)

However, V/Line has slowed down the N class trains to make V'Locitys seem faster, Standard Peak N class train South Geelong to Spencer St has always been 55-58 mins stopping all stations (1985-2011) today they take 71-75 mins for the same trip while the V'locitys take 60-63 mins.

N Class (dep 06:20, arr 07:33)
V'Locity(dep 07:28, arr 08:33)

V'locitys are also restricted to 62mph once it's pasts Werribee because of the track conditions (concrete sleepers are only at stations.)

Cheers.

Are you kidding?! There were tones of them still available when it was 2:00....

Anyways, I went today and got my self a GY wagon and not sure if it was scratchbuilt or what....after 2-3 hours, I head down to the Steamrail open day where I was able to blow the whistles hard on R711 and D3 639 :P

Cheers,
Nathan

Hey all

Lookie at what I got today

I didn't chose the number, I said to the person "I'll take a random number", sadly though some paint is chipped on the top class light on the drivers side at the front.

Cheers.
