Hi All
Took a trip down to Brunel Hobbies today to get a few supplies. Picked up screws for the Y class, as well as some 16BA set screws and tap for the VR dual coupler mounts. Have test fitted my 'test' mount with one. Personally, I think this method works a lot better than a plain pin, since it allows the coupler to be changed if required (e.g. if the coupler gets damaged).

Also picked up a /heap/ of Tichy Train Group rivets. Will cover a wagon or two, as well as finishing the I/IB wagon :)

Regards
Zec

A lineup of VR Steam at Saint John on the AMRA Stonnington Valley layout.

Decided that, as it was Australia Day, I'd see how much VR Steam could be put onto the layout :)

Hi All
I decided to take advantage of the nice weather today, and paint my SEM X class :)

This is the first loco I've painted, and the first time I've actually used my airbrush to paint, well, anything!

Very pleased with how it's looking so far :)

More like the patience, Dan! :P
I was modelling N scale for a few years, man that was fiddly! wasn't made easier by my lack of knowledge back then... since when I've made the astronomical switch to O scale :P

Lookin' real snazzy indeed, Zec. Look forward to seeing it back together and running smoothly :)

Cheers
Stevo

Looks like a pretty good job Zec, Pity ya couldn't paint Trainz stuff with a airbrush and have it look the same matt finish as your's is.
Cheers Mick.
