Nathan is correct, working, at Auscision, and every $5000 I make, which isn't hard at Auscision, I get one loco. Pretty awesome rate ha??

Hi Jamie,

That's pretty good, so rather than getting "paid" for selling them they give you a free loco when you meet the $5,000 quota.

G'day cjgeddes & b 82,

Gentlemen, that IS a genuine D3 (note the 'offset' rear Driving wheel, a UNIQUE feature of the D3 locomotives). Jamie can confirm (or deny) this but I believe these locomotives are now 'museum pieces', as they were released (in HO scale) many years ago and are now 'out of stock'...

...oddly enough, I was 'watching' Jamie move that locomotive around the display layout all weekend (off and on) and NEVER actually realised it was a D3, I just assumed it was one of the variations of the newly released A2s in Canadian Red (one of which I purchased for myself whilst I was there) ...

I was just offered a Canadian red D3 in as new condition, but turned it down. I have an email address if anybody is interested?

he D3 is certainly a display item, but it is a rather smooth item on the line, heaps more than the PSM D3 did, problem is you wont fine it will be the smoothest because of the clearance issues between the front pony truck and the cylinders. Because of it being such a rare item and only 10 where built, I dont want to settle for anything less than $1600.

I went plenty of good layouts and I was more then tempted by one of Auscision's A classes but I ended up passing on it. A credit to those at HBMRC
