Hi Tom,

I have the name of it in the back of my mind,
It use to have a tarp on it in VR use then Freight Vic modified it to a Log Car.

Close, they used the same frame ;)

I may strip this one down one day and turn it into a VFNX 'Praire' Wagon, not sure how I would achieve a nice looking tarp with not many polys though...

This one was mainly used on the Orbost Line, and then more recently by FA on the Bairnsdale Log Trains (I think, need picture confirmation).

That's the name I was thinking of, just didn't know how to spell it, lol
Could use a simple plane to get a low poly tarp and would look nice.

As for the Logs Cars, I remember them being used at north shore in 98, 99 when they changed it from a Ballast loading dock to log loading.

Does that mean it has the bogies set as 2-6-2? A truck with a wheel arrangement of an NA class? Or does it carry an NA?

No hehe, I think it was due to the traffic it was used for (Maryvale Paper Train).

Another update, misread the diagrams so needed to realign and resize a few things

Just the photos I was looking for, thanks Rod! Will give that version a go as well, I think they were rebuilt from the VFNX wagons (looking at the frame which is identical).

Another update...all that's left now is the fine details (handbrake, steps, grab irons, undercarriage etc.)
