Also you'll have to load the base session in surveyor and go from there as for some reason TS2010 stores content on the session and not the route (I have no clue why).

Hi Tom,

It has to do with layers, I made the mistake of editing the route in session mode "I was use to TRS2006" and use overwrite route and session when I was done "in TS2010 this merged the route items into session" Zec helped me fix this problem by merging session layer into route layer in the layers tab, I just dragged the session to the route, then use merged, also be careful as all rolling stock will become route layer, lol'ed.

Try turning off the 'favorites' filter in the Routes menu. Done by clicking on the gold 'star' at the top of the Routes menu.

G'day Rod,

I have the same problem...

...only 'the creator' (of Trainz 2010) knows where the program stores the files it uses (which includes all the ones we throw at it from our our own resources)...

...I have had some success 'opening' 'invisible' routes by right clicking on them in the list in CMP 3.2 and selecting "Open in Surveyor" from the drop down list...

:P

What you've described Garry, is exactly the result that having the favorites filter on (it's on by default) will do.

BTW, look under Bdale, not Bairnsdale in the Routes menu :)

G'day Stiki,

I don't know that I would say that the passage of a mere six months without any intermediate posts makes a thread "ancient" but as far as I know, although the route had been released to Beta testers and had been suitably 'passed', a number of issues with TS 2010 have 'slowed' the process somewhat. It has not yet been uploaded to my knowledge. Perhaps Tommyg could chip in here with "the full story"...

I agree, it does look like a nice fun run to do, so will be patient and give it a grinding when its released, when and if, the creator is happy with it :)

Normally I wouldn't ask but there are very few routes longer then a few minutes of play available. I've been hankering for something as awesome as this for some time.
If I were to complain and hassle folks ah would annoy s301 to hurry up with that Steam Suburban set.

Healesville V2 is nearing release (sort of, no actual ETA as it's waiting for content to be finished and released :) ) , which gives a good hour or more of driving, including shunting. If you do a return trip, even longer!

As for the suburban set, it's progressing :) Got some stuff to fix up, and need to finish off the LOD meshes for the F class' (as well as update the other F's with the new script!).

I think everyone will enjoy the Orbost route though, makes for a great drive :)
